Mother’s day is just around the corner and for a while there, I had no idea what I was going to get as a gift. Eventually, I decided to go with a gift hamper full of a few of her favourite things or related to her favourite activities. It may sound cliche, but it’s not just any gift basket I’ve picked up from the supermarket, it’s personalised and full of both sentimental and high-quality items.
Since my siblings and I have left the house, my mother has reignited many passions that she had put aside to raise her four, fussy children. One of these passions was from her past life as a Head Chef, during this time in her career she loved pushing culinary boundaries and experimenting with recipes. This passion is what I decided to base my gift hamper on, plus, you can’t really go wrong with food! And so my quest for high-quality ingredients that could still be eaten on their own began. That’s when I came across Manuka Masters an online store that offers a range of luxurious Manuka Honey and Manuka Honey infused products.
The Mother’s Day gift basket is full of a range of Manuka Master’s products that I know she will love and enjoy using during her culinary adventures. Some of which included; Manuka Masters 830+ MGO Manuka Honey, NZ Pure Honeycomb, Manuka Honey Infused Belgian Chocolates and Spiced Honey BBQ Rub. I also decided to add in a few items she could use when she needs to unwind, such as Manuka Masters Lavender and Manuka Honey soap, Lemon, Honey and Ginger Concentrate and Premium Manuka Honey Dark Chocolates.
To add a more personal touch to her gift hamper I enlarged an old photo I found of my mother from when she was a Head Chef. My siblings and I then, all pitched in with creating a frame, as well as handwritten notes with treasured memories and things we love about her. Pleased with the outcome, now all we need to do is source a gift basket large enough for all her goodies.
