Let’s just call January a trial month, shall we?
Like many others, I’m sure, 2018 started off with a pledge to live healthier, simpler, and adopt a lifestyle with a foundation of wellness. It was all well and good on January 1st, with a gym session, a healthy dose of vegetables and plenty of water, a walk in the park.
Fast forward to February, and plenty of champagne later, the healthy diet hasn’t quite gone as planned. Kickstarting back into that routine isn’t always easy, and so I decided to use a juice cleanse to get myself back on track.
Pure Health Delivered (PHD) Juice Cleanses are known for their unique and carefully selected recipes and ingredients. They also provide a variety of options, including cleanses that come with healthy salads.
I opted for one of these, the Resetme plus, which is a combination of juices and salads. PHD sent through a handy guide for preparing for a juice cleanse, including what to cut out of your diet prior to starting a cleanse. As I did not plan on giving up coffee post-cleanse, I continued to have my morning fix.
The first day was probably the easiest, and it helped have other people do the cleanse with me. Both salads were extremely filling, and I more missed the comfort of food than the feeling of being hungry.
The second day was definitely much harder, and I felt the impact on my energy levels. The email support from PHD helped revive these, and remind my why I’m feeling tired, instead of breaking the cleanse.
The final day of the cleanse was difficult, especially while working an 8 hour day. The inspirational intention was a great way to start the final day off (especially knowing it was almost over!). Overall, the salads made the 3 day cleanse much easier on my mind and body as did the additional support from PHD.
If you’re looking to do a juice cleanse, PHD provide a range of different options, including New Zealand’s most affordable 3-day reset. It’s a great way to kickstart a healthy lifestyle and start over fresh, and if that’s what you’re after, I highly recommend getting in touch with their team.
