From The Devil Wears Prada to The September Issue, it’s no secret that we’re all obsessed with working for a fashion magazine. Glamorous events, photoshoots, fashion shows, and all while looking impeccable, you need more than simply a vehicle that can get you from A to B. So what cars do Fashion Editor’s drive?
We spoke to Eye Magazine about their stunning Mercedes GLA, and what it means for their day-to-day and overall brand.
Brittany Daniel, Production Coordinator had little to fault about the functionality of the GLA, citing its size, safety and overall reliability.
“The Mercedes GLA is the perfect car for all of our work needs. It has an extremely luxurious and professional look. It is large enough to transport items while doing events but is still a small SUV and great for getting around town. It is comfortable and reliable with all the new technology,” she says.
The look and brand association of a vehicle is important, as it reflects how others will see your brand. For Eye Magazine, the GLA is stylish, fun yet professional, just like their readers.
Production Manager Jill Larson, she is constantly zipping around in the GLA for meetings, cover shoots and loves the ease and comfort that comes with driving this model, as well as the technology.
“The reversing camera and sensors helps when having to do deliveries and parking at event spots. Plus, the leather seats are so comfortable – and they heat up,” says Jill.
“GLA drives well, parks itself and makes my job even easier.”
We may never get the chance to work at Vogue, but at least we can drive like we do.
